About Black Rock Salt Spa LLC

“Hello everyone! I’m Maria Neder—a wife, mother, grandmother, and a proud Brazilian American with deep roots and an even deeper love for my family. They are the heartbeat of my life. I have always been an adventurer at heart, constantly seeking new paths to live life with vibrancy and meaning. For me, there’s no greater goal than nurturing both body and mind, which is why health—both mental and physical—is always at the top of my list.

After finishing my time as a nanny for my twin granddaughters—a role that filled my heart—I found myself at a crossroads, wondering where my next purpose would come from. That’s when inspiration struck like a spark. I decided to channel all my energy, passion, and creativity into building something truly unique: a salt cave.

I knew from the start that I wanted my cave to stand apart from the rest. No industrial, cookie-cutter bricks or harsh, artificial lights. Instead, I envisioned a space that felt organic and alive—a serene, healing retreat that embraced nature’s quiet beauty.

My salt cave had to be a true extension of myself—organic, handmade, and filled with intention. So, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work, crafting each tile with my own hands. Using only natural, non-toxic, ethically sourced materials, I carefully shaped each tile, one by one, pouring my heart and soul into every step of the process.

The Himalayan pink salt that fills my cave—an incredible 1,500 pounds of it—was ethically sourced from the foothills of Pakistan. It’s more than just salt; it’s a natural treasure, waiting to nurture both your mind and body with its healing properties.

I created this salt cave and opened my spa out of love—love for my health, my family’s health, and the well-being of everyone who steps into this space. Life isn’t easy; we all carry stress, burdens, and weariness. But we all deserve a place where we can release those burdens and reconnect with ourselves. My salt cave is that place—an oasis of peace and healing. I can’t wait for you to step inside and experience the magic for yourself.”
